Preparation
Why fast?
We fast to draw out our spirit & bring down divine intervention - so you can enter into higher ground, things can change & power can enter into your life.
What does it entail?
- Abstinence from food and drink: This strengthens your spirit through self discipline & redirecting resources you would normally use preparing and digesting food, to spending time with God & sowing into the Kingdom.
- Separation: Spend time in God’s presence praying, meditating & studying the word and limit or stop social media use etc.
Practical Tips
What to do?
Abstain from food & drinks for 9 to 12 hours a day (don’t count the time you sleep).
Have one meal a day (or cut down on a part of your meals if you can't fully abstain).
You can drink water throughout the entire day.
Take out extra time to pray, meditate & study the word alone and with others.
Caution
Do not abstain from food and drinks if you are pregnant, nursing or have a medical condition, such as diabetes, which requires a constant food intake.
You can abstain from other things instead, such as social media or idle time consuming activities.
Do not break your fast with solids & do not eat 3 meals in one.
Mind your attitude: you might be more irritable because you're hungry.
Also note fasting is not about you so you can boast. It's about you serving God and others.

Day 15 - Monday, January 26, 2026
Acts 26:17-18 (NKJV) I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.
By the power in the name of Jesus, remove the tokens of the darkness from you and around you, and break any bands of wicked links to you.
Day 16 – Tuesday, January 27, 2026
Pray that your destiny assignments shall continue to gain momentum in the right direction.
Day 17 – Wednesday, January 28, 2026
Isaiah 55:4 (NKJV) Indeed I have given him as a witness to the people, A leader and commander for the people.”
Pray that your life will become phenomenal to be a witness to people in your sphere and God’s people
Day 18 – Thursday January 29, 2026
Pray that your usefulness shall be established and be a witness of God’s hand upon you
Day 19 – Friday January 30, 2026
Ephesians 3:13-16 (NKJV) Therefore I ask that you do not lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.
Submit yourself under the mighty hand of God and ask Him to refill you for all you need to handle & make happen and for the journey of your life
Day 20 – Saturday January 31, 2026
Ephesians 6:8 (NKJV) knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free
Pray that as you serve God’s cause and His people that you and your household shall receive divine assistance at every crossroad, every point where you need help for all your projects in Jesus’ name.
Day 21 – Sunday February 1, 2026
Thank God for taking you through the prayer with fasting and waiting programme
Pray that the outcomes and impact shall be lasting and permanent in Jesus’ name.
